Waves & Wonders: My Solo Journey Through Bali
Bali welcomed me with a warm breeze and the smell of incense in the air. After months of working non-stop, this solo trip was my way of pressing reset. I started in Ubud, surrounded by rice terraces and ancient temples, where each morning began with yoga and ended with local warung meals.
One of the highlights was hiking Mount Batur at 3 a.m. to catch the sunrise — a surreal experience. I made spontaneous friends along the way, from surfers in Canggu to artisans in Ubud.
The trip wasn’t just about places, but the people and the pause it brought. Bali gave me space to reconnect with myself and return with stories I’ll never forget.
